Easter Celebrations

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
We had a wonderful Easter this year. Not only did the boys understand better, both that they were going to be able to find eggs and eat candy, but also that the holiday is celebrating Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us. We had wonderful fun with all of our families and friends as well. The Saturday before Easter, we had a huge Easter egg hunt with a ton of friends up at a park near where we live. The boys were a little confused about why they had to go FIND the eggs, but both had a lot of fun. We also had our little neighbor friend Austin come with us and he had a great time as well.
Then on Easter Sunday, we went to brunch with the Pfeifer family, a tradition that we look forward to every year. We also got to take some great pictures while we were there, the boys had a great time. And they got to eat bacon, which for them, is always a pleasure! :) Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Pfeifer!!
Then later we went over to my mom's house and saw our whole side of the family, as well as Teage's Dad there as well. The boys got to have another fun Easter egg hung, and the adults got to do a scavenger hunt as well! Thanks Mom! We had a lovely dinner, with lovely friends and family, and really had a wonderful time. We are so thankful for Easter time to be able to slow down a little bit, have fun with family, and celebrate Jesus Christ.
We hope that you all had a wonderful Easter holiday! We love all of you!

So, I've been missing you and your blog. And it just occurred to me that it didn't pop to the top of my blog roll because you made it private. Anyway, I LOVE the new look. Maybe it's old. I haven't been here for a while.

So glad that Easter was great. Jocelyn loved gathering eggs and was surprisingly good at it. Not quite like her brothers were at the same age. ha ha. This girl has her stuff together.

Your Easter sounds fabulous! It's so great to live by both sides of the family, isn't it? And it's also a blast when your kids get to be old enough to understand some holidays we celebrate are more than just to get presents and candy!
