Anyone else have those days where all you hear is:
"No"
And
"Why?"
Please tell me that I am not the only one!

Teage's BDAY!!!

For two weeks out of the year, my hubby is technically 3 years older then I am, and I love to remind him of this fact. :) Teage's birthday was about a week ago, and we had so much fun celebrating it with him. Instead of doing a huge party, Teage just wanted his immediate family to celebrate and have dinner. He also had to work the day of his birthday, so I tried to get a little creative anyway. :) My great friend Kim came down to help me, since I am still recovering from my surgery, and we tried our best to surprise Teage (even just a little bit) on his big day.
Before church that day, we drove over to Teage's workplace with my mom and step dad, decorated his car with balloons and streamers, and then went up to his office to surprise him with cookies and birthday wishes. He was truly surprised, so that was a ton of fun for us!After church, Kim and I, along with her friend Mark and Teage's sister Sunni, put together a fun meal and birthday cake for him. We had a lot of fun just being together, celebrating the birth of my amazing husband. I think that he had a great time opening presents (well, the ones the boys let him have anyway), having cake, and just reminiscing over past birthdays. Great company, great food, great man. LOVE IT!

Happy Birthday Baby!! I love you so much, and am so thankful for a wonderful man like you in my life!!!

SAVE THE DATE

Hi everyone! Here it is.....our bi-annual Cystic Fibrosis Benefit Auction is coming!!!! Mark your calendars for May 14th 2010!
Teage and I have been involved with the CF Foundation since 2007, after our friend Jolene passed away from complications of CF the previous year. She is such a great example to us, and we love being able to do something small to carry on her vision and memory. This auction is going to be amazing this year, held at the South Bellevue Community Center. We already have some fabulous donations, and would love for all of you to be there with us! Thank you for your love and support everyone!!! Please help us carry on Jolene's amazing example!

Good Ol Days

I love looking back on those good ol days of college. Way too much fun, and not enough studying. I had a fabulous group of friends back then, one of which I eventually married. :) We had so much fun together, laughing all the time, always thinking up one great activity after another. One of those good friends, Bridget, who is quite a talented writer I dare say, wrote this little ditty after a dance one night. Isn't she hilarious? Hope you enjoy....
A Toast To My Pal Erin:

The two boys questioned each other,
"Hey! You an' me? You an' me?"
As they surrounded you with dancing grooves.
It's all bump and grind, lacking the sublime.
The typically timid lawyer guy stopped his gyration
When you demanded, "what are you doing?"
His twinkling eyes shifted from you,
To his cohort, and then back at you with confidence.
Over the pounding bass Legal Weasel blurted out,
"I'm the Engergizer Bunny, an' I got the gift that keeps on givin'!"
Your eyebrows raised in disbelief. "Are you for real?"

May all your Friday nights
Be full of memories to laugh about
And cry over
