For two weeks out of the year, my hubby is technically 3 years older then I am, and I love to remind him of this fact. :) Teage's birthday was about a week ago, and we had so much fun celebrating it with him. Instead of doing a huge party, Teage just wanted his immediate family to celebrate and have dinner. He also had to work the day of his birthday, so I tried to get a little creative anyway. :) My great friend Kim came down to help me, since I am still recovering from my surgery, and we tried our best to surprise Teage (even just a little bit) on his big day.
Before church that day, we drove over to Teage's workplace with my mom and step dad, decorated his car with balloons and streamers, and then went up to his office to surprise him with cookies and birthday wishes. He was truly surprised, so that was a ton of fun for us!
After church, Kim and I, along with her friend Mark and Teage's sister Sunni, put together a fun meal and birthday cake for him. We had a lot of fun just being together, celebrating the birth of my amazing husband. I think that he had a great time opening presents (well, the ones the boys let him have anyway), having cake, and just reminiscing over past birthdays. Great company, great food, great man. LOVE IT!
