One of our new family favorites.....

Our new "cabin"

We went to go visit our good buddies, the Holmans, a few weeks ago in Bellingham. They just purchased this amazing home on gorgeous property, and we had an absolute blast! We joke around that we now have a second home to go to in Bellingham whenever we feel like it....our own special "cabin"! :)\

This home that they purchased is truly beautiful. They own some acreage and the whole atmosphere is completely serene and calm. It really was like a vacation! We didn't do much, just hung out with our buddies, fed some chickens, played with the donkey and goats, and skated across the ice filled pond. Our whole family had so much fun!

 While we were there, our buddies went over to a friends house to pick up some chickens for their coup. It would seem a simple thing, just going to pick up a few chickens and bring them to a new home.....it turned out to be quite a little adventure for all of us! It was quite the scene, four adults chasing chickens all over their friends' property like crazy people! It was pretty hilarious actually!!!

Their friend also had a parrot that he brought out to show the kids. He asked if anyone would like to hold it, and all of the kiddos shy'ed away right away. Well, all except Emery. This girl is fearless! She just held her arm out there like she was a pro!!

The pond on their property was completely frozen over, so all of the kids went out and skated for the longest time. It was truly freezing out there, but they didn't care! They just kept going back and forth, back and forth, having so much fun!!

 I love how the Holman's kids and ours just pick up right where they left off, even if they haven't seen each other in a long time! It took them all of about 1 minute to get re-acquainted and then off they went! It was so much fun seeing them together!!!!!!!

Thank you so much Holman family! We absolutely LOVED having a mini-vaca with all of you!!!! We are so grateful for the time we were able to spend at your amazing house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our Friends Are Back!

We are so excited to have our buddies in the same state!!!!!!! We just love these Waggoners! As much as we supported them in their move to Texas, we are being selfish and loving having them back!!!

Hey Santa....

We were in Texas over Christmas this year, so we decided to do the wonderful Santa picture there instead of at home. Thankfully this year they let me download all of the images, though we had to pay an arm and a leg for it (Thank you Grandpa Dale!)! I think it is worth it.....just adorable!

 This was the best one, and the one we choose to print, but the others are pretty cute too! I am so thankful that Miss E didn't have a fit this year! I had to prep her pretty much the entire time we were in line, but it worked!! The boys were so excited they could hardly handle it, though once it was actually our turn they clammed up a bit and didn't really want to talk. :) I just love these buddies of mine!!!

Overall, a great day. We figured out a system for standing in line, had a wonderful lunch afterwards with dessert for the patient kiddos, and laughed and talked a ton. Thanks Santa!!!

Festival of the Nativities

Our stake put on the Festival of the Nativities this last weekend, and it was as amazing as ever. The whole church is decorated with nativities from all over the world, and rooms depicting the Savior and His life. It truly is an amazing site. I love it every year. 

One room that I help out with every December is the Photo Room. People can come by and dress up as the wise men, Mary, Joseph, shepherds, and angels and take a fun picture with their family. All three of my kiddos actually did it this year, and it turned out so adorable!!!!!!!!!

Football Stats

The boys have been enjoying watching and playing football a ton lately. :) Once the Mariners are done for the season, the Seahawks are a great second!! And since the weather is nasty at the moment, the football is happening indoors. Yep, I can't quite stop it! :) The other day I found these adorable stat sheets that I had to document for all time!!!:)

2 and a half!

This adorable and spunky girl is now 2 1/2!!!!!!!!!! CRAZY!!!!! Time is going by way too fast! This little missy is in preschool one day a week and loving it. She is learning her letters like a champ, and colors are getting there too. No one believes she is only 2 because of how much she talks! She is getting better about being with other people besides Mommy :), and is having so much fun dancing, singing, laughing, and everything else she can get herself into!! 

She is so tall and energetic. This girl can definitely hold her own with her brothers, and just about anyone else. :) She is in the middle of whatever is going on, just like her Mama!

I love how my family is so much fun sometimes! The other day my kids (well, ok, maybe Teage) decided they wanted to do a Minute to Win It with oreo cookies! Here was the result....loved it!
